BOARD OF EDUCATION CANDIDATES FORUM

The Board of Education Candidates Forum held on October 15, 2008 from 7:00 to 8:30 p.m. at the Takoma Park Municipal Building has been archived and can be seen by clicking here and choosing the Board of Education Candidate Forum.

In addition, the forum will be rebroadcast schedule follows:

The Takoma Park City TV is on channel 13 on Montgomery County cable service provided by Comcast and RCN/Starpower, and on channel 28 on the Verizon FIOS system. The program is 90 minutes long and includes all 5 candidates who are running for BOE seats.

LAURA ON ROCKVILLE CENTRAL

OFFICIAL CAMPAIGN KICKOFF

The campaign officially kicked off Saturday, May 31st in Rockville Town Square. Lead-in speeches by graduating Quince Orchard Senior Tiffany Ho, activist Bob Astrove, and parent and retired principal Fred Evans warmed up the crowd for Senator Jennie Forehand's enthusiastic introduction of Laura. Great weather, face painting, and balloons made the event fun for all supporters.
